Time: The Most Valuable Asset on Earth

How do you spend your time?

That’s an important question, because you are only given a limited amount of time. Many people spend their time as if they were immortal, without realizing the value time contains. The harsh reality is that, sooner or later, you will die – so you should never take time for granted.

Most people take the safe and familiar road and avoid risks, because it’s the comfortable path. If you choose to travel that road, you’ll realize that while you were alive but never had the courage to really live.

When you acknowledge your own mortality, it puts things in perspective and gives you a sense of clarity to what really matters. Life is a beautiful adventure. It’s too short for negativity, living without a purpose and being unhappy.

Do the things you desire and want to achieve now, because you don’t know how many tomorrows you possess.

Give a moment of thought to all the people who only have a short time left. To the wounded soldier who lays on the battleground and won’t see his family again. To the terminally ill children that won’t have the opportunity to experience their teen years. To all the people who lay on their deathbed with regrets of an unlived life.

These people would do anything to be in your shoes!

’’A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of time’’ – Charles Darwin

There are 86,400 seconds in a day.

The difference between successful and mediocre people is how they spend all those seconds. You get the exactly same amount of time in a day as every star athlete, billionaire and famous movie actor.

Don’t bullshit yourself with the excuse ’’I don’t have time’’, because time is the only thing you are given in this life. Get your priorities straight, and start managing your time according to your desires.

This is your life, and your time. Make the most out of it.
